This week of the Advent season focuses on love. Love is a huge concept, and there are many different views of what love is and what it should look like. 1 John 4:8 tell us, “Anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” We have a model of what true love looks like in the person of Jesus. At Christmas, we celebrate the incarnation of Christ—when He humbled Himself and became fully human in an act of love.
