Help us reach our goal.
We’re calling on our church family, and those invested in our ministry, to help us branch out of the classroom and grow. Your contributions, over and above regular giving, will help us turn this dream into reality. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us build a stronger foundation for our children’s ministry.
Branching Out: eKids! Playground Project
At Element Christian Church, we’re excited for a growing Elementary aged ministry that has been busting out of their current building. Element has already invested in expanding our eKids! rooms inside and begun the site work for an out-door play area, which includes a concrete area for tables, and astro-turf for activities. The last thing we desire to see in this space is a commercial playground. “Branching Out: eKids Playground Project” is a financial campaign to help us complete transforming this outdoor space for our Elementary aged students. This campaign represents our commitment to nurturing the growth of our young church family and creating a welcoming environment for families in our community.
Just as a tree branches out to provide shelter and support, we aim to expand our ministry by creating a vibrant, safe playground for our eKids. This new play area will:

- Provide a fun, engaging space for children to play and socialize at all our Element events
- Support our growing Elementary (eKids!) ministry
- Enhance our property, making it more inviting for new families
- Serve our neighbors, community groups, and ministries that use our facilities throughout the week.
What will my money be going to?
All donations to Branching Out will go directly towards the purchase of a new commercial playground, the installation of that playground, or to help recoup some of the costs already spent in preparation of the play area.
How Much Are You Hoping to Raise?
Our goal is to raise roughy $50,000 for this Branching Out project. This money will go towards:
- The cost of the commercial play ground structure + delivery (roughly $22,000)
- Installation of the play ground, and
- Help recoup some of the cost Element has spent out of the Building Fund to do the infastructure of the new eKids! play area that have have completed so far.
I see a fenced in area, is that a part of Branching Out?
Yes! We’ve already made significant progress for our new eKids! play area:
- Along with a generous donation, our board has approved $30,000 for initial phase of the play area, which included:
- A fenced area with concrete, tables, and artificial turf for games and activities.
Now, we’re reaching for the sky! The next phase involves installing a commercial playground structure that will add color, excitement, and new opportunities for play and learning.
Can I divert my regular giving over to Branching Out?
While yes, you can – we would ask that any donations or intentions would be on top of, over and beyond, your regular giving to the Element ministries.
What is the Project Timeline?
Although we’d like to get the playground in as soon as possible, no specific timeline exists. Depending on Element’s response, if we can raise a good portion of the $50,000 (via donation and or intention) then we will order the playground which will take up to 2 months to arrive. Installation will also depend on availability, and we will need a crew to help! If it takes longer, or we do not get close to raising enough money, all donations will be held until Element is able to make the purchase, or one similar to it.
