Baptisms & BBQ
At Element we believe baptism is making a public statement about your life and commitment to walk in the ways Jesus calls you to. Many people only get the Jesus “as seen on TV” and don’t understand what Jesus does in “real life” or what following Him looks like on a practical level…so we not only baptize people, but have them write their stories as well.
We then celebrate as a church family with food, swimming and laughter! We hope you will plan to join us for the afternoon!
WHAT TO BRING:
Element will be providing the essentials for a nacho bar, but we’re asking if you can help fill in the gaps by bringing the following items based on your last name:
- A-L- Cooked taco meat (ground or shredded beef, chicken, carnitas, carne asada, etc…)
- M-R- Finger friendly desserts (that don’t need extra utensils like cookies and cupcakes)
- S-Z- Beans (refried, black beans, whatever you like on your nachos)
Also, don’t forget to bring warm clothes, as it’s looking to be a cold day. Chairs, blankets, swim trucnks if you want to go swimming afterwards.
