The Carols Week 6 - Auld Lang Syne: The God Who Remembers

Today we will look at a song NOT inspired by Scripture—“Auld Lang Syne,” the song we commonly associate with the New Year. This song raises a rhetorical question about what should be forgotten. This message explores the role of remembrance through a Biblical lens, framing it as an active process rooted in God’s character. We see over and over how God’s faithfulness transcends our own forgetfulness. Through our remembrance of God’s faithfulness, and His hand in our own story, we’re invited into deeper trust as we navigate future unknowns.

Scripture References: Psalms 77:11-15
