This week we looked at how Jesus, as God in the flesh, welcomed all people into His family. Many religious people, then and now, tend to view people with issues as beneath them or unworthy of their time or respect. In the ancient world, this could happen because someone was poor or even the wrong gender (female, in case you were wondering)…something most people had no control over.
This Week's Gospel Statement: “The Gospel is the good news that even though we have segregated ourselves from God and others, God has not left us in that state; Jesus has come and liberated us through His death and resurrection to restore our broken relationship with God and others.”
Join us on our 16-week journey as we look at the Story of God from Creation to Restoration. This is the powerful work of Jesus Christ redeeming us as His people, and calling us back into relationship with God again.
